Client situation
- Following Russia’s ratification of the Paris Agreement in September 2019, a National Action Plan for the first phase of climate change adaptation for the period up to 2022 was approved, which included the task of developing proposals for the formation of a sectoral climate change adaptation plan
Approach
- Analysis of the Russian regulatory framework and international experience in the field of climate regulation
- Development of a methodology and assessment of climate risks by industry sector
- Preparation of proposals for a system of targets for achieving climate change adaptation goals, taking into account international practice and forecasting target values
- Analysis of adaptation measures taken and existing industry strategic planning documents
